In 2026, F.lli Mauri introduced geometric form rolling, a cold-forming technology developed through our collaboration with Sanmei, a Japanese partner specialising in this process.
How it works
Instead of cutting material away, special tools push and guide it into the required shape. The metal fibres follow the new component geometry and remain continuous.
What we can produce
The process can create grooves, sealing seats, shoulders, flanges, spherical profiles, knurling, threads and special geometries. In some cases, several operations can be combined into one process.
Why it matters
